‘Defiance’ was selected for the 20th Annual Smocks & Jocks Art Auction on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 11 AM – 2:30 PM CT in New Orleans, LA. Smocks & Jocks will be celebrating it's 20th year during SBLIX weekend in New Orleans.

‘Defiance’ captures the raw intensity of football, showcasing a dynamic moment where NFL players collide in a fierce tackle as one player breaks through for a touchdown. The vivid colors and dramatic brushstrokes emphasize the struggle, determination, and spirit of competition, encapsulating the essence of teamwork and resilience on the field. This painting is inspired by my husband Bill Jones, Jr., retired NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs.
